Meet our new CAD Manager, Andrew Farahi

To keep providing the best possible service for our customers, we need to have the right people, with the right experience, in place. We’re delighted to expand our team with the appointment of Andrew Farahi as our new CAD Manager.

CAD experience and expertise

With 12 years’ experience in Technical Drawing, Andrew comes to MultiCAD with an impressive CV and he has worked on high profile projects like:

• Heathrow T2,
• Battersea Power Station
• the London Olympic Stadium,
• projects for Ministry of Defence,

among others.

As well as his focus on CAD drafting work, Andrew also has plenty of experience in CAD management including working closely with clients, offering customer support, both pricing and estimation as well as project management.

We also noticed that he started his career working on HVAC systems and he’s since built strong expertise in MEP co-ordination, plant room co-ordination and CAD drafting for building services.

The role of CAD manager is more than just drafting designs. Andrew’s years of experience mean he can not only take on drafting work, but will also manage the CAD processes and software needed to ensure the highest quality of work on each and every drawing. In practical terms our CAD Manager ensures we create highly accurate designs with a minimum of rework and turn them round to our clients swiftly, without any drama.

In addition, the construction industry isn’t standing still and at MultiCAD we are proud to always be at the leading-edge for our customers. Staying up to date with evolving information standards, more emphasis on sustainability, not to mention developments in AI and software, our CAD Manager creates the optimum design process from initial client briefing through to outputs delivered on target.

A major part of Andrew’s role will be to ensure our clients remain 100% satisfied with their CAD outsourcing, as MultiCAD expands and the construction industry evolves.
