Building work began in spring 2016 to transform Boland House into Science Gallery London. The spectacular site, which overlooks a public Georgian Courtyard, is located at the foot of The Shard, moments away from London Bridge station.

Exhibition galleries – on the first floor of the gallery is a large exhibition space where the exhibition will principally be shown with additional flexible space on the ground floor. Theatre with adjoining reception area – the theatre seats 150 and has retractable seating offering flexibility for workshops and receptions too.

Meeting spaces – our first floor studio offers flexible space for meetings and events with excellent AV in place and catering to suit requirements. If you are interested to know more about private hire visit our hire pages.

Café – our ground floor café overlooking the courtyard will provide the perfect spot to relax and meet others over breakfast or lunch or for a quick coffee.

Shop – visitors will be able to purchase Science Gallery merchandise and products related to the exhibition at the time.

Guy’s Courtyard – the Georgian Courtyard which was previously being used as a car park will be restored so that the space can be enjoyed by all and with refreshments from the café. It will also be possible to run events and activities within the courtyard.
